Main Task: Final Product

THE UK'S BESTSELLING INDIE ALTERNATIVE MAGAZINE by jasmine fogoe

My magazine is called Melody Manic. I am very pleased with the way my front cover as it has the exact image I intended and visioned my magazine to have. I like the pastel appearance it has with small pops of colour, specifically the orange/choral tones. To make this front cover I used a website called Canva.

Masthead: The masthead has a very unique geometric style to it which I like a lot. The text is white which allows it to stand out on the light pastel blue  background. The masthead also is outlined in black which allows it to stand out further. The masthead will play a huge role in attracting the target audience as it is unique just like the indie/alternative genre.

Main Image: The main image was taken by a friend and I. We took multiple images and one of them I am going to used for my double-page spread. The main image is perfectly fitting to the genre of my magazine which is indie/alternative. The bright/pastel colours assist in making the magazine cover stand out and attract the target audience.

Coverlines: I have went with a very minimalist approach so I did not include many cover lines, instead I include one main coverline.
